There are several tools in Structural discipline that help you place intermediate members. For example, the Place Steel Members Framing Between tool places a specified number of member between two selected members. The intermediate members can be curved to match the supporting members (aligned), or they can be straight. If only one of the supporting members is curved, you can select that member as the first supporting member and they intermediate members will be curved or straight, depending on if they are aligned.
